The Filtecci inclined bed filter is a reliable all-round filter with non-woven filter material for an average performance requirement from 50 to about 1,500 l/min (with a viscosity of 1 cSt).
Application areas
The inclined bed filter cleans coolant lubricants (emulsions and oils) as well as process water. We offer a stainless steel (1.4301) design for process water. The SBF-D also manages heavy polluting loads and is often used in the machining processes of turning, milling, boring, grinding, etc.
The inclined bed filters are ideal for the individual supply of machines and systems as well as for the group supply of several machines with the same cooling lubricant requirements.

Inclined bed filter family
We differentiate our inclined bed filters into two groups according to their design and filter performance:
Pico Series (up to 150 l/min filtration capacity)
Duo Series (up to 1500 l/min filtration capacity)

We are proud to claim that our inclined bed filters from the Duo series provide the best filtration results of all Filtecci filters.
This is due to the thick filter cake formation, which we achieve with the driven transport chain.
The steel transport chain carries the non-woven material across its entire width: in this way, we can design the filter bed to be very long and the cooling lubricant has enough time to form the filter cake.
Setup of our inclined bed filters from the Duo series
The filter attachment is made of very solid sheet steel, is painted and is built and designed for a high level of operational safety with fault-free running.
The spent non-woven material is wound on a coiler. A scraping plate scrapes the filter cake from the non-woven material so that a separate disposal of sludge and the non-woven material is possible. A safe non-woven material transport is always ensured due to both drives.
Control system
The filter system is controlled by a logic control (SPS).
Power supply connection: 400V, 50 Hz
The filter is controlled and monitored with three switches:
- Floating switch for non-woven material feed
- Optoelectric sensor for the non-woven material roll end
- Lever switch for the consumed non-woven material
We use a level sensor with three switching points to monitor the tank.
Tank
We offer steel tanks in appropriate sizes for the SBF-D. The tanks stand on 100 mm high feet and we optionally weld the ribbing on the inside or outside.
Other tank sizes and designs are possible.
Pumps
We attach machine supply pumps – also frequency-controlled pumps – on the tank cap as a submersible pump or next to the tank as a standing / block pump according to your requirements.

Pico Series

The Pico series completes the lower end of our inclined bed filter range with filter performances of 50 and 100 l/min (with 1 cSt). The filters are built compactly out of stainless steel. We placed particular value on good usability and safe functionality during the design.
Application areas

The SBF also manages heavy polluting loads and is often used in the machining processes of turning, milling, boring, grinding, etc or in the preparation of washing water and surface treatment systems.
Filter setup
The filters, tanks and sludge boxes are built of stainless steel (1.4301). They are therefore also suitable for process water with a pH value of 6-9.
The spent non-woven material is wound on a coiler. A scraping plate scrapes the filter cake from the non-woven material so that a separate disposal of sludge and the non-woven material is possible.
Control system
Power supply connection: 400V, 50 Hz
The filter is equipped with a floating switch for the non-woven material feed and a motor protection switch for the gear motor. This version does not require a switch cabinet.
We optionally offer:
- Optoelectric sensor for the non-woven material roll end
- Lever switch for the consumed non-woven material
- Level sensor with three switching points to monitor the tank
Tank
We offer stainless steel tanks of appropriate sizes as well as sludge boxes for the Pico series. The ribbing is welded inside.
We are happy to build other tank sizes and designs according to your specifications.
